The Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park is a delightful way to spend an afternoon, especially in the spring. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom, their soft pinks and whites standing out against the vibrant reds and hot pinks of the azaleas. The air is thick with the scent of flowers, mingling with the calming sound of water features scattered throughout the garden.
I’m especially drawn to the lush, perfectly manicured lawns—often overlooked in favor of their more colorful floral companions. The traditional Japanese architecture adds a layer of history and culture, grounding the garden in something timeless.
These photos remind me of visiting the gardens with my roommates, and they bring me as much joy as their friendship.
